Curriculum & Specials
The students, staff and families of East End Community School value diversity, equity, relationships, growth and achievement. Our community has high expectations for students and believes that students can grow to meet grade level standards and beyond. We believe that having consistent opportunities and access to strong grade level instruction, where students do most of the thinking and are deeply engaged will grow student achievement and empower students, for the world. PPS has several district adopted curriculums that guide our work:

Literacy
We give students the tools and resources they need to refine their reading and writing abilities so that they can share what they know with the world.

Math
We believe high-level math is most effectively taught alongside state-of-the-art integrated technology, and that challenging curriculum be met with curiosity, wonder, and persistence.

Science
We believe that young people are naturally curious about the world around them and we invite students to deeply investigate and scientifically explain its phenomenon.

Visual & Performing Arts
We believe that the arts make communities better, and that artistic expression promotes the development of a well-rounded individual.
