East End Dr. Seuss Celebration A Huge Sucess

East End Community School celebrates Read Across America 2015 with Dr. Seuss Comes Alive.   Students in the Rise and Shine Readers Theater, Power Pens, and 2nd grade chorus brought Dr. Seuss to Life as they celebrated his life and many of his books.   Students performed  "Oh, the Places You'll Go", 'The Lorax", The "Sneetches", and "Green Eggs and Ham".   Second grade chorus sang Green Eggs & Ham from Seussical and Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss.   Power Pens student's wrote their own nonsense poem called It All Happen on the Way to East End School inspired by Dr. Seuss' first book "And to Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street".   The afternoon assembly culminated with guest reader and local actor Andrew Harris engaging the audience in a readers theater verision of "There's A Wocket in My Pocket."
