Hello My Name Is...
From a very young age, I have always loved learning and wanted to be a teacher. Along my 40 plus years of professional, educational travels I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to have trained with and learned from many gifted early childhood programs and educators who have greatly influenced my beliefs and practices. I continue to learn from many and have been greatly inspired by the work of Loris Malaguzzi and the Reggio Emilia educators who brought new meaning to the art of listening to children and making their learning visible.
I believe every child has unique gifts and capabilities and that education is a tool to release these potentials. I believe that Kindergarten should be a place where a sense of wonder is cultivated and communicated and where there is joyful learning!
